Metropol Parasol in Seville

This building is built in Seville in the historical centre of Plaza de la Encarnación. The building is designed in a grid structure. The simplicity in material usage but complex nature of the pattern allows for an interesting piece of architecture in the otherwise rather bland atmosphere of the area. It can be said that the shape that the building takes on is that of a tree, with it relating to the fact that the structure is made from wooden plates. I like how its is such a easy concept but a difficult structure. Built in it.

Bang and olufsen speakers

The patterns are made to arranged like floor tiles. A sound system made of hexagonal speakers that can be arranged in different combinations. The wireless wall panels can play and boost sound but also adapt to noise to improve indoor acoustics.

Project Ara was a project that was carried out by Google. Although never finished, it was a project where the goal was to create a phone with different slots to allow for different parts that can be put together on to the phone. As different users would want different modules on their devices, it would be an easy way to allow them to tailor their device to their own uses.
